Call for BIPOC Board Members – VIVO Media Arts Centre
With gratitude to our outgoing directors, VIVO Media Arts Centre seeks new members to join the Board of Directors for the 2024-2026 term. We are looking for a Treasurer, but we welcome general board member applicants.
We believe in a Board that reflects the diversity of our staff and the communities we serve. We strongly encourage applications from individuals who identify as First Nations, Métis, Inuit, People of Colour, and/or 2SLGBTQIA+.
This volunteer opportunity is ideal for those interested in independent media arts, community resource-sharing, and artist-run cultures. Board members contribute approximately 5-8 hours per month, participating in online meetings and committee work, with the chance to support VIVO's mission through policy and decision-making.
